  1. Just a few comments on our last vacation with Sandals, booking #7092807. Upon arrival in St. Lucia we were met by a crew from Sandals and a bus to take us to the La Toc facility. After riding the very cool plane for 4 hours + we were provided a bus with an internal temperature of about 103 degrees, since we sat at the back of that bus it appeared hotter then normal, well the gentleman behind us was able to measure the temp and it was at 103 degrees. His spouse almost passed out and my wife was sick for the next 3 days after arriving at the facility. To make things worse the room we got was not the one we had requested and paid for, we specifically told the person that we wanted a quiet ocean view walk out, but got a pool view walkout instead, with at least 2 screaming loud volley ball games less then 15 feet from the door and a loud band that played until late in the evening usually 11 to 1130 PM. That part of the vacation sucked, the only word I can think of. Additionally we were told when making the reservation that they would do something special since we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, but Nothing happened, no one cared. Now to the good part, service was absolutely outstanding as far a the pool area and the main dining area at the main facility. Here I want to mention Ms. Davis, dining room, wow that is what I call service this lady should be the teacher for the rest of the crew, and Mr. George service around the pool bar and pool area, outstanding. Cleanliness of the room was so, so, one had to ask to get towels and minor things, but I am not complaining. As far as becoming a member and returning to a Sandals, I really don't know, we never got to use any water sport equipment, due to the red weather flag every day, except the last, we did get a ride back to the airport which was OK, at least we did not have to ride that bus. Overall it was not the great vacation advertised in your magazines.
